Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World is the latest installment in Square Enix's beloved monster-taming RPG spin-off series. Announced during the Dragon Quest 40th Anniversary presentation, the game marks the return of the Dragon Quest Monsters franchise with an all-new adventure centered around Bianca and Nera, two iconic characters from Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.
Set in the mysterious Withered World, players will embark on a journey to restore life and help "make the whole world bloom." While Square Enix has yet to reveal extensive story details, the announcement trailer showcases a vibrant cast of classic Dragon Quest monsters and teases a magical adventure filled with exploration, monster recruitment, and strategic battles.
